Medassist.org – NC MedAssist is the only statewide non-profit pharmacy in North Carolina. Through their various programs, they provide prescriptions and over-the-counter medications to our neighbors in need at no cost.

Charlotte Community Clinic – For people with no insurance, may charge $10 if you have it. Generally, no charge. One lady receive a hip replacement @ no cost including hospitalization and all.  They have Dr.’s on staff to assist you. We are not sure if some of their policies have changed over the years. Excellent resource, call first for an appointment.

  • Contact Local Health Departments:They can provide information about free or low-cost vaccination services available in your area.
  • Check with Community Health Centers:Use the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) website to locate CHCs near you.
